Royal Faaiq's sire, ZT Faa'iq was bred by the renowned Zichy-Thyssen Arabians of Argentina and gained world attention with titles such as unanimous European Junior Champion Colt, Reserve Junior Champion colt at All Nations Cup, and Reserve Junior Champion Colt at the Egyptian Event. He was exported in 2006 as the senior stallion of Al Rashediah Stud in Bahrain ZT FAA'IQ :: Al Rashediah Stud. Royal Faaiq is one of only a few ZT Faaiq sons breeding in the USA.
Royal Faaiq's dam Fazida was by *Ramses Hameedo who was bred by the EAO. Only Royal Faaiq and his Nephew Kismets Badr carry this Straight Egyptian line. Fazida is out of the imported mare *Fayza who was bred by Hamdan Stables. A Saqlawiyah Jidraniyah mare of the Tahawi. Again only Royal Faaiq and his Nephew Kismets Badr carries this Straight Egyptian line.
